At our store of Natural Living in Foster, our days are brightened when a new baby is brought through our doors to say hello to us for the first time. The joy of welcoming a newborn into this world is something that is incomparable to almost anything else in life – bringing with it wonderment, excitement, fear, adoration, pride, complete happiness and, most importantly, love. Gollnest & Kiesel (Goki) is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of quality wooden toys. The company was established over 40 years ago and all products are designed and manufactured in Germany to strict quality standards. At Goki, they take social responsibility seriously, helping to build schools in the Third World to give children the education that can mean a way out of the poverty caused by child labour and planting a tree for each newborn child in Germany’s northernmost federal state every year. That’s approximately 25,000 trees a year planted by this great company! All their wooden toys are made from a variety of trees, always from renewable sources. These are beautiful traditional toys possessing a contemporary European feel and sparking the imagination and creativity of children, as well as developing fine-motor skills.
Wanting to bring as much love, laughter and learning into the world through healthy, sustainable choices and good old-fashioned fun, Natural Living Foster (our physical store) and Billie & Roo were born. So what started off as a small kinesiology practice with a few healthy living products and a passion to protect our beautiful planet, soon became so much more. The joy we share with customers each day, whether in person or upon the opening of a new toy through the mail, is why we’re here.
