At our store of Natural Living in Foster, our days are brightened when a new baby is brought through our doors to say hello to us for the first time. The joy of welcoming a newborn into this world is something that is incomparable to almost anything else in life – bringing with it wonderment, excitement, fear, adoration, pride, complete happiness and, most importantly, love. At Billie & Roo we have the perfect array of baby goods and gifts to help you express your love and excitement upon the arrival of the new member of your tribe.
HEADU is an innovative Italian company. It believes in fostering a child's curiosity from an early age. It encourages children to explore, discover and develop fundamental skills for life-long learning through a series of beautifully illustrated, academically-developed educational kits. These include Montessori inspired learning activities, puzzles and games.
HEADU uses play as a medium for skills transfer. Its educational kits encourage and promote seven innate and individual forms of human intelligence as defined by the eminent American psychologist, Howard Gardener. These includes linguistic, musical, spatial and logical capabilities. HEADU's inhouse research centre is constantly developing tools to activate these capabilities in consultation with prestigious educators, teachers and early-age development specialist.
The HEADU learning method features a range of educational tools for achieving specific skills through play. A child applies their intelligence to resolve simple or increasingly complex educational activities. Then, highly-motivated by their learning experience, they progressively develop new, and ever more empowering, capabilities.
When kids enjoy an activity, HEADU knows it's got it right! For example, early age learners often experience the world through their hands. Therefore, the more tactile a learning experience, the more fully children will engage. Inspired by this insight, HEADU tests, trials and ultimately integrates Montessori-inspired sensory elements into many of its products.
HEADU also integrates multiple play experiences into its educational kits.
HEADU products are fun, engaging and made with durable, quality materials. They feature original illustrations with an engaging and polished style. They're made in Italy with contributions from forward-thinking authors, designers and illustrators all over the world. Each kit is made from a range of natural materials including cardboard, wood and fabric. The final product is then packed and presented in a durable, colourfully illustrated artboard box (which includes a handy cord handle).
Wanting to bring as much love, laughter and learning into the world through healthy, sustainable choices and good old-fashioned fun, Natural Living Foster (our physical store) and Billie & Roo were born. So what started off as a small kinesiology practice with a few healthy living products and a passion to protect our beautiful planet, soon became so much more. The joy we share with customers each day, whether in person or upon the opening of a new toy through the mail, is why we’re here.
