At our store of Natural Living in Foster, our days are brightened when a new baby is brought through our doors to say hello to us for the first time. The joy of welcoming a newborn into this world is something that is incomparable to almost anything else in life – bringing with it wonderment, excitement, fear, adoration, pride, complete happiness and, most importantly, love. At Billie & Roo we have the perfect array of baby goods and gifts to help you express your love and excitement upon the arrival of the new member of your tribe.
Our wooden instruments are a great way to introduce your child to the fun and benefits of music. Whether it be banging on a drum, strumming a guitar or hammering it out on an xylophone, a musical instrument can provide hours of fun as well as serving as an avenue for self-expression and the release of pent up energy.
Did you know that studies have shown that babies and toddlers who are exposed to music go on to perform better in areas such as language development, speech, listening and reading skills? Playing a musical instrument can also help develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination whilst the use of a variety of wooden instrument toys of different sizes, shapes and types will encourage different muscle areas to strengthen and develop. Wow. Perhaps a little more jamming at Billie & Roo 'headquarters' may be necessary??? Bring out the instruments we say!
Wanting to bring as much love, laughter and learning into the world through healthy, sustainable choices and good old-fashioned fun, Natural Living Foster (our physical store) and Billie & Roo were born. So what started off as a small kinesiology practice with a few healthy living products and a passion to protect our beautiful planet, soon became so much more. The joy we share with customers each day, whether in person or upon the opening of a new toy through the mail, is why we’re here.
