Size wise, designed for the teen to adult, the small fits an average wrist and the large is more chunky for a wider wrist.  They are equally effective firm or loose and suits a wide range of sizes however for a tiny wrist the small may still be too large.

It is best to measure a piece of string of the same sizes below to best determine if the size will work for you.
